The Vinaigrette is broad rectangular in form and the cover is unusually decorated with a detailed vine leaf and bunch of grapes, surrounded by an engine turned frame. The base is engraved with prick dot bands and a central tartan panel. The interior is very finely gilded and the grille is pierced with diamond motifs.
