The Vinaigrette is broad rectangular in form, unusually almost square, and displays a cover and base decorated with an outer frame of crisp trailing vines and grapes around an engine turned panel. The cover also displays a vacant rectangular cartouche. The sides are decorated with cording and the front has a serpentine shaped thumb piece. The interior is finely gilded and displays a grille pierced and engraved with pluming scrolls and flower heads. The Vinaigrette is in excellent condition and is fully marked on the bezel. The work of Lea and Co is scarce, however it is always of the finest quality.
