The Pail stands on a most unusual spreading foot pierced with scrolls and which displays a corded edge. The rim is decorated with gadrooning and the main body has a baluster shape decorated with swirl panels of Neo Gothic piercing including scrolls and quatrefoils. The sides are also decorated with swirling floral sprays as well as cascading beaded bands, in sizes. The front displays a Rococo shell detail cartouche engraved with a set of contemporary initials. The arched handle is also pierced and chased with floral and foliate details. This piece is well marked and has a blue glass liner.
