The Toothpick Box is rectangular in form with rounded ends. The base is engraved with a sunburst design around a floral motif and the sides display beautiful floral and foliate designs. The hinged cover is decorated with linear and foliate engraving around a vacant central cartouche. The box has its original mirror and velvet lining. This example is in excellent crisp condition and is very well marked.
