The Snuffer Tray has a navette form with raised reeded rim and cast "Onslow" scrolls for carrying at each end.  The ends are also decorated with bat wing fluting and the main body is engraved with an outer band of stylised flower heads on a scratch engraved and prick dot ground.  The centre is engraved with a contemporary Crest, with square cartouche surround with incuse corners.  This piece is in excellent condition and is very well marked on the reverse.
