The Mustard Pot is modelled in the “Drum” form with a reeded spreading base and a beaded rim.  The sides are beautifully pierced with an upper and lower band of diamond motifs with flower heads in between.  The centre of the main body is pierced with a band of vertical pails interspersed with Neo Classical urns in oval frames.  The sides are also decorated with bright-cut and prick dot designs.  The slightly domed cover displays a bright cut border and a pierced fan shaped thumb piece.  This example also has a scroll handle and blue glass liner.  The Mustard Pot is fully marked on the base and with the sterling mark on the underside of the cover.

Height, to the top of the thumbpiece: 3 inches.

Base Diameter: 2.5 inches.
