The Pot is of a large size and the main body has a Drum form, with a beaded base and rim. The sides of the main body are pierced with three horizontal bands of bluebell drops, as well as two bands of flower heads in roundels. The sides are also engraved with various bright cut floral sprays and the front of the main body also displays a vacant oval cartouche. The high domed cover terminates in an urn finial and the edge is engraved with a mix of bright cut and prick dot designs. This example has a plain scroll handle and a pretty pierced fan shaped thumb piece. The Mustard Pot is in excellent condition and has a blue glass liner. It is fully marked on the base and with the makers mark on the cover.
