The Nutmeg Grater is of broad rectangular form with cut corners. The cover, sides and base are engraved with bright cut borders and the cover also displays a beautiful engraved basket of flowers surrounded by sunburst design, all within a cut cornered frame. The engraved basket is surrounded by a crossed floral branch cartouche. This example has an opening on the base to keep the nutmeg in and a steel grater. It is of the finest quality as would be expected from these pemier box maker's. The grater is in excellent condition and is very well marked.
