This very rare Morrocan red leather compendium displays beautiful silver mounts, floral medallions and clasp, engraved with pretty prick dot and bright cut designs. This beautiful piece opens up to reveal the silk pin cushion and felt needle case, as well as pouches for small pieces of material. A second section then opens up to reveal a silk lined section with notebook/aide memoire with pencil. In addition this piece contains its original almanac from 1814, which is a very rare feature. This is a most unusual item, especially as it retains its original contents.
