The Table Forks are modelled in the rare Hanoverian Three Prong style, with elegant long tines. The reverse of each is engraved with the contemporary script initial P. Forks are rare in England before 1770 and the advent of the commonly seen four prong design. The three prong style is extremely scarce and much sought after, as an early examples of the English Fork. The Forks are in excellent condition and have a very fine colour.
