The Dessert Service comprises of fourteen pairs of Dessert Knives and Forks ( 28 pieces in total).  Each piece has a beautiful chamfered shaded Scottish agate handle, the forks with silver tines and the knives with silver blades.  The handles are attached to the silver with a ribbed moulding.  The Service is in excellent condition and each piece is very well marked.  All pieces are contained within a velvet lined, fitted, brass bound case, with removable tray. Willaim Chawner made very fine sets of flatware and dessert services.

Length of the Knives: 7.9 inches, 19.75 cm.

Length of the Forks: 6.45 inches, 16.13 cm.
