The Goblets stand on a domed circular pedestal foot which is decorated with an eclectic mix of bright cut and prick dot designs. The main body is engraved with floral and foliate garlands and an upper band of feather and floral scrolls, and eye shaped motifs on a scratch engraved ground. The front of the main body is engraved with a contemporary Armorial, with Crest above, surrounded by scroll work. The interior is finely gilded and the Goblets are fully marked in the foot. The Arms are those of the Brett family impaling those of the Rundle family. The engraving on the Goblets is some of the finest we have seen over the years.
