The Jug stands on a square platform base which rises to an oval pedestal foot decorated with reeding.  The main body is modelled as a Roman helmet and rises to a reeded loop handle.  The lower section of the main body is decorated with a wide band of lobes, with stylised bluebells above.  The interior displays fine original gilding and a bat wing fluted moulding where the handle meets the inside of the jug.  This piece is in quite excellent condition and is very well marked on the foot.

Height, to the top of the handle: 5 inches: 12.5 cm.

Length, spout to handle: 6 inches: 15 cm.

Width: 3 inches, 7.5 cm.
