The Toast Rack stands on an oval platform base with four reeded panel feet. The reeded main body is unusually modelled as a lyre, with six divisions for the toast. This example has a circular carrying handle, with a Crest and contemporary initials engraved below. This design is seldom seen and is very rare. The toast rack is fully marked under the base.
