The Label is modelled in the "Eye" shaped form and displays a beaded rim. The face is engraved with the rare title of ALE and the reverse is very well marked including the incuse head duty mark, where the King's Head is contained within a cut cornered punch. This was only seen in 1784 and 1785.
Length: 1.9 inches, 4.75 cm.
