The cover displays a vacant cartouche and the cartouche on the base is engraved with foliate scroll work. The sides are decorated with two bands of flower heads, as seen on the base and cover. The interior is finely gilded and the grille is pierced and engraved with a central floral wheel motif, surrounded by pluming scrolls.
