The Cheroot Case is very finely engraved with a view of The Crystal Palace with sunburst above, all surrounded by pluming foliate scrolls. The reverse is also engraved with a contemporary Crest, with Motto above, and initials below. This was almost certainly made to commemorate the Great Exhibition of 1851.
