The Tortoiseshell Etui has a very rare triangular form with rounded corners. The sides are decorated with bright cut silver bands and the top of the hinged cover displays a shield shaped cartouche, engraved with contemporary script initials. The Etui opens up to reveal a silver fitted interior which contains a glass scent bottle and stopper.
