This rare Caddy Spoon comes from the Captain John Norie Collection and is one of the scarce "pierced" mother of pearl designs. As you will see from the images, the spoon has a circular bowl and the handle is finely modelled, pierced and engraved in a lyre design. This specific example is illustrated in "Caddy Spoons" by Captain John Norie, Plate 108, fig b. The spoon is in excellent condition.
