The Caddy Spoon is modelled in a very unusual leaf form with shaped edges and detailed vein work to simulate the texture of the leaf. This piece has a plain scroll handle and is well marked on the face of the main body. This is the first time we have seen this design of leaf caddy spoon, and we cannot find an illustration of a similar example. The work of these rare makers is also scarce and it is the first time we have seen a caddy spoon from their workshops.
