The Servers are made in the Queens Pattern and the stems display crisp patterning and are double struck. The Knife has an attractively shaped blade which is pierced and engraved with a panel of floral and foliate designs and sprays. This is all surrounded by bright cut and linear borders, interspersed with unusual acanthus scrolls. The Fork has four times and is beautifully pierced with similar designs on both sides. We have to emphasise that this is some of the finest decorative work we have seen on a pair of servers. Both pieces are in excellent condition and are well marked.
