The Servers are unusually double bladed which are both navette shaped in form and pierced with an arched band of diamond motifs. Each has a feather edge border and are also both engraved with beautiful, and detailed, floral sprays. The top blade also displays a central star motif. The server has an Old English Thread pattern handle, made in 1797 by the specialist handle maker, Moses Brent. Both blades are very well marked. This is the finest, and most beautiful, pair of double bladed servers we have offered. The quality and attention to detail is exceptional, even down to the beautiful beaded screw which holds the blades in place. Great attention to detail by Joseph Dodds.
