The Taperstick is cast and stands on a stepped base which is decorated with gadrooning. The stepped section rises to a very attractive swirl fluted base. The shaped main shaft has baluster sections and is decorated with gadrooned bands and a swirl fluted neck. The pull off nozzle is also decorated with swirl fluting, identical to that shown at the bottom of the shaft. The Taperstick is in excellent condition and is fully marked in the foot.
