The Bowls would have been used to serve condiments and preserves.  The bases are diamond cut and have swirl lobed designs on the bottom.  The rims display silver mounts which are decorated with reeding.  The domed, pull off, covers terminate in facetted finials and both are cut with an aperture, for a serving ladle.  Both are in excellent condition and are well marked.

Height: 4.5 inches.

Diameter at the rim: 3.75 inches.
