The Stand has four unusual feet, with scroll ends decorated with prick dot bands. The main body has an unusually shaped raised rim, also engraved with prick dot designs. The stand is beautifully engraved with flower heads in roundels, and ovals, and the centre displays a foliate and scroll cartouche engraved with the contemporary script initial D. This piece is in excellent condition and is fully marked on the reverse.
