This fine piece is modelled in the Cape Pattern and is decorated with wide bands of lobing and gadrooned borders. This example has a fruitwood handle and slightly domed cover, which also terminates in a fruitwood finial. This piece is of the rare smaller bachelor size and is in excellent condition.
