This very rare piece has a beautifully shaded and carved agate handle and the silver blade is shaped and engraved to simulate the shape of an acorn. The centre of the blade is engraved with a crossed laurel branch cartouche, containing a set of contemporary script initials. The server is very well marked, however it does not have a makers mark. We have had other examples of this design over the years and they are always from the workshops of Abstainando King - a very rare and desirable piece.
