The Mustard Pot has a solid large drum form and displays a reeded base and gadrooned rim. The main body is engraved with an upper band of flower heads and trailing foliate motifs. The front of the Mustard Pot is also engraved with a contemporary Armorial. The cover is decorated with reeding and the harp shaped handle is attached to the cover with a stylised shell thumb piece.
