The Mustard Pot is of an unusually large size and is oval in form with a beaded base and rim. The sides are pierced with an upper band of stylised foliate motifs as well as flower heads in roundels. The sides are also engraved with herring bone garlands tied with floral sprays. The front displays a pierced cartouche engraved with a contemporary Crest. This example has a scroll handle and shell thumb piece. The domed cover is engraved with a mix of bright cut designs. This piece has most unusual decoration and is much larger than is normally found.
