The Ribbon Threaders are realistically modelled as a Stork, with two oval finger rings. The surface is textured to simulate the feathers of the bird. A claw is attached to one ring, so that they may stand up. These were presumably given as gifts and were used to thread ribbons through the garments of a baby. These threaders are very rare and Georgian examples are scarce.
