The Snuff Box has a tall form and is inset, on the cover and base, with beautifully shaded and facetted agate panels. The wide gold mounts are crisply chased with entwined linear scrolls and Rococo shell details, all on a matted ground. The front displays a raying shell thumb piece. The box is in quite excellent, crisp, condition and displays exceptional facetting work.
