The Toothpick Case is narrow rectangular in form, with cut corners. The cover, base and sides are engraved with very crisp bright cut designs, including flower heads, diamond motifs and a sunburst design on the base. The hinge is beautifully concealed and the interior display its original velvet lining and mirror. This is one of the finest Toothpick cases we have offered over the years and a similar example is shown in Silver Boxes by Eric Delieb, Page 86, Plate 126.
