A very rare George III Triple Opneing Snuff Box made in London in 1796 by George Collins.

The box is modelled in a deep rectangular form, with rounded ends. The sides are decorated with an upper and lower triple reeded band. The box has two flush hinged compartments, the hinges being concealed with bright cutting and the central section, on the top, is engraved with a floral and foliate spray. The side has a hinged cover revealing a third compartment and the interior displays very fine gilding. This is a particularly rare design, executed to the finest standard.
