The eight sided Etui is beautifully engraved with bright cut and prick dot designs including pretty flower heads and foliate motifs. Each side is engraved with a rectangular cartouche, one containing a basket of fruit and the other a set of script initials.. The hinged cover opens up to reveal its original scent bottle, and stopper, engraved on one side with a basket of fruit and on the other with a basket of flowers. This piece is in excellent condition and is well marked on the base and cover.
