This very rare Spoon is made in the Fiddle pattern and the top of the stem is engraved with contemporary entwined Neo-Gothic initials. The bowl is partly hooded so that soup could be sipped from the cut out hole at the side. This would refrain the user from getting soup in his moustache. These spoons are extremely rare, as few were made. A true Victorian eccentricity !
