A very rare Ice Cream Spoon made in London in London in 1842 by The Lias Brothers.

This rare Spoon has a spade shaped bowl and Old English pattern stem with feather edge border and engraved shell end. The top of the stem is also engraved with an intial B. The stem is palely gilded, with a deeply gilded bowl. These spoons would have been used to eat ice cream and sorbets and the larger spades for serving.
