The Rattle has a bellied form and six bell and ring attachments. The turned gold main body displays three vari-colour gold husk and guilloche bands. One end also displays a whistle and suspensory ring and the other a scalloped section with a tapering coral teether. The rattle is very well marked and displays an incuse makers mark of an engraved letter A.
