The Chamberstick is modelled in a smaller size and was almost certainly for a child.  This piece has a circular base with raised rim decorated with a double beaded band.  The central shaft rises to a tulip shaped socket decorated with reeding.  The pull-off nozzle displays an outer beaded band.  This piece has a pretty beaded scroll handle, which has a reeded conical extinguisher attached to it.  The chamberstick is in excellent condition, is well marked on all pieces and displays a set of contemporary script initials on the base, nozzle and extinguisher. This also represents an early piece of Sheffield silver, as the Assay office was first established in 1773.

Diameter: 3.6 inches, 9cm.
