This rare piece is of a large size and was most probably used for serving cream, however it could be used for a number of purposes today. The beautiful faceted glass body has reeded silver mounts on the rim and at the base and a most unusual carrying handle which is oval in form, containing a detailed foliate motif, flanked by plain shoulders. This piece is a most unusual design and is in excellent condition.
