The Caddy Spoon is of a typical William Pugh design with "teardrop" bowl engraved with chequered designs in the bowl.  The handle is engraved with trailing foliate designs and a prick dot cartouche engraved with a set of contemporary script initials.  The Spoon is in excellent condition and is very well marked on the reverse.  Similar forms can be seen in "Caddy Spoons" by Captain John Norie on Plate 46.
