The Dish is modelled as an unusual wide raying scallop shell and stands on three winkle feet.  The carrying handle is decorated with a bound reeded scroll and is also engraved with an unusual contemporary Crest.  This piece is of a good size and is very well marked.  It is in excellent condition.  Albert and Joseph II Savory were brothers and traded as A.B. Savory, with workshops at 14, Cornhill when this piece was made.
