The Spoon is modelled in the Dognose form, with a rat tail on the reverse of the bowl. The top of the stem is engraved with a set of contemporary initials and the stem is well marked. This piece has a good bowl, colour and is in excellent condition. John Clifton was apprentice to John King and had workshops in Foster Lane when this spoon was made.
