The Wine Label is unusually modelled, and engraved, to simulate a barrel, with the title "ALE" engraved around the centre, on a scratch engraved ground.  The barrel is surrounded, each side, with trailing vines and grapes.  This piece is in excellent, crisp, condition and is very well marked on the reverse, including the King's Head Duty mark.  Although Queen Victoria ascended the throne in 1837,  the William IV King's Head duty mark was still being used.

Length: 2 inches, 5cm.

Width: 1.75 inches, 4.38 cm.
