Scottish Sauce Labels are extremely rare as very few were made, especially with such a rare title. The label is broad rectangular in form with cut corners and a double reeded rim. This example is engraved with the scarce title of CHILI VINEGAR, chilli being only spelt with one "L". The label has a Scottish feel to it and is very well marked on the reverse. This is a particularly scarce piece from Scotland, especially with this rare title which has not been spelt correctly, which makes it even more desirable to a collector.
Length: 1.2 inches, 3 cm.
Width: 0.75 inches, 1.88 cm.
