An unusual Escutcheon Wine Label made in London in 1853 by Rawlings and Summers.

This fine label is modelled in the plain escutcheon form and the face is most unusually pierced out with the name MADEIRA.  This label is very well marked and in excellent condition.  Rawlings and Summers were fine makers of wine labels.
