The Cups are modelled in the Scottish Thistle style, with lobed lower section and reeded girdle and scroll handle. The front is engraved with a contemporary Crest and each is very well marked. This is the first time we have seen a set of this design and the quality is exceptional and most unusual being made in the higher grade of silver, Britannia Standard, at this date.
