The Spoons are modelled in the Hanoverian pattern, with a drop on the reverse of the bowl. Each is engraved with the contemporary scratch engraved intials ED and all are in excellent condition, with good thick tips to the bowl. The matching Sugar Nips are modelled in the typical form with round finger rings, shaped arms and raying grips. All seven pieces are contained within their original silk and velvet lined shagreen box. These may well have been made for a child or as an apprentice piece. It is most unusual for them to have all remained together, especially in such good condition.
Length of the Spoons: 3.25 inches, 8.13 cm.
Length of the Sugar Nips: 3.1 inches, 7.75 cm.
