YORK. A rare English Provincial Sifter Spoon made in York in 1843 by Barber & North.


The Sifter is modelled in the fiddle pattern and displays a wide oval bowl, pierced with scrolls and tear drop motifs. This piece is very well marked and is of an exceptional gauge. Sifters from York are very rare.
