280383
This very rare piece stands on an applied ring foot. The lower section of the main body is decorated with alternate swirling flutes and lobes. The Taster has two wirework scroll handles and is very well marked on the upper section of the main body. As well as being a rare item it falls within the short reign of Mary II & William III, which lasted for only six years, before Mary died in 1694. Due to this short reign the amount of holloware to be found during this period is very limited. The makers mark of NL is shown Jacksons, Silver & Gold Marks, page 146.
