This unusual Vinaigrette is realistically modelled as a handbag and is engraved all over with diamond pattern and displays a vacant oval cartouche. This piece has arched twisted handles and opens up to reveal a finely gilded interior and grille pierced and engraved with pluming scrolls and flower heads.. This piece is very well marked inside and is in excellent condition. A near identical example is shown on page 111 of "Investing in Silver" by Eric Delieb.
